Rights

The patient has the right to the assistance of the staff needs to be tolerant, caring and attentive, respecting human dignity and his religious beliefs and philosophical convictions.
The patient may request information about hospital performance and to ask who are the doctors who are treating.
The patient has the right to know about his illness in a comprehensive and understandable, diagnosis, treatment and prognosis.
Before any intervention or diagnosis, the patient can request and give consent or not the proposed treatments. If the same is not able to decide for himself, is entitled to the same information to family members or those who pursue the custody.
The patient has the right to privacy protected. The information about his illness or his admission must be kept secret.
The patient can complain and report any personal misconduct or intolerances.

Duties

The patient must have confidence in the health workforce and respect it.
If the patient decides to give up hospital care, must inform the staff.
The patient must behave in a responsible and respectful, both to the hospital staff in relation to other patients.
The phone should not be a cause of disturbance of other patients or medical services.
The patient should not smoke.
The patient should observe and enforce visiting hours set by the department.
